Gabriel Richardson
Gabriel Richardson is a humanitarian, storyteller, and follower of Jesus who believes in the power of everyday people to bring light into dark places. Over the past several years, Gabriel has worked on the frontlines of humanitarian response—supporting communities in crisis from the Nuba Mountains of Sudan to the flooded streets of Porto Alegre, Brazil. While completing his Master’s in Humanitarian Action at the University of San Diego, he continued serving in the field, applying what he was learning in real time during deployments across the U.S. and abroad.
He’s lived in Liberia for 1 year and spent nearly 3.5 years combined in South Sudan, where he helped lead emergency logistics operations and co-founded the South Sudan Skate Federation—an initiative focused on empowering youth and promoting peace through skateboarding. That effort is now growing into a movement, with a fundraiser underway to build the country’s first skatepark.
Let Known was born out of Gabriel’s desire to share the stories of resilience, hope, and transformation he encountered in communities around the world. Through photography and visual storytelling, Let Known highlights the good that often goes unseen, shining a light on the individuals, organizations, and grassroots movements quietly changing the world for the better.
At the heart of Gabriel’s work is a deep sense of calling that is rooted in faith, driven by compassion, and committed to walking alongside others with humility and purpose.
