Open Road Global: The Power of Yes
A single decision, repeated over time, has shaped the life of Sarah and Anson Overbey.
What began as a desire to live with greater openness to God has grown into Open Road Global, a nonprofit working in Mexico and Malawi alongside local leaders to build sustainable, community-driven initiatives. Their approach is not built on quick solutions, but on trust, relationship, and a long-term commitment to seeing people lead in their own contexts.
Along the way, their story has intersected with others, including the early formation of Let Known. Their willingness to move forward without having everything figured out has helped shape a vision for storytelling that pays attention to the kinds of lives and moments that often go unnoticed.
Jonathan (Jono) Nunez: The Ministry of Presence
Surf breaks, skate parks, and taco shops might not look like typical ministry. But for Jonathan Nunez, they’ve become the places where faith takes root. His ministry isn’t strategy or formula, it’s overflow.
Through surf and skate ministry with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Jonathan is meeting young people exactly where they are. He is building trust, sharing life, and pointing them to Jesus. What started as simple weekly hangouts has grown into a rhythm of discipleship that continues to shape lives across the North County surf and skate community.
